Revisiting the New Year Resolutions

RV resolutions If you are like most other RV-ers, you started the year with a list of resolutions— places that you will visit in your motor home, things you would do on your next trip, and of course buy an RV if you don’t already own one. Since the year is a few months old now, we thought it might be a good idea to revisit those resolutions. If you are in the mood to make a few adjustments to that list, here are some ideas:

1. Explore National or State Parks during the Off-Season

Most of the US national or state parks remain overcrowded during the peak months. So, why not visit some of these places during the off-season and make your RV-ing experience more enjoyable? You will not only have the entire campground almost to yourself but also get to choose the best campsites at economical rates. When you have fewer people visiting these spots, you get an opportunity to experience the scenic beauty in a different way, making your camping adventure memorable.

2. Rise Early and Capture a Beautiful Sunrise

Early mornings, the soft chirping of birds, and a beautiful sunrise are some of the things you must look forward to when RV-ing. So, instead of being cooped up inside your rig, rise early and go outside. If you are camping by a picturesque lake, wake up to the call of birds and sit back to enjoy the sunrise every day. Watch the red sun rising over a lake and enjoy this beautiful moment in silence. Do not forget to capture this experience on your camera.

3. Go Slow

RV travel is often hectic and leaves you exhausted. So it’s time to go slow and take it easy this year. Do not visit more than two places on a single day. Traveling many places and moving from one spot to the other will eventually take a toll on you and your group. So, slow down, take breaks on the way, eat, and spend more time in one spot. It will not only be a relaxing experience for you, but it will also save your fuel costs. You will also get to experience destinations like a local rather than as a tourist.

Resolutions or no resolutions, there is one rule to RV-ing— have fun. If you are considering an upgrade to your existing RV and want to explore the new places in another well-maintained used Class A motor home, contact us today.
