5 Signs You are a Born Rv-ER

RV living

RV-ing is fun, adventurous, and intriguing. But unfortunately, it isn’t for everyone. Are you cut out for the RV lifestyle?  There are some sure-shot signs to know.

1.You love to travel

If the great outdoors attract you, RV-ing is probably a great option for you. The flexibility that it offers makes it easier for you to explore new places and unknown terrains. If you are passionate enough about traveling, you can see a lot of the country in a fairly short period of time.

2.You love freedom

RV-ing and freedom goes hand in hand. I mean, isn’t that the whole point? If you have a keen ear for what your heart says and a sharp mind to follow it anywhere, yes you are made for RV-ing. If you dare enough to take the plunge and go for full-time RV living, you will not only say good-bye to a fixed spot, but also to apartment leases and home mortgage. You can’t get more freedom than this!

3.You love meeting new people

When you are RV-ing, the entire world can be your neighbor. Campgrounds are a great place to meet new people and make new friends. Many campsites organize events that let people socialize. These events typically include campfires with singing and storytelling. You could even make friends at the campground laundry room! The possibilities are huge once you think beyond your apartment community or friends.

4.You don’t mind either cooking or eating out

When you are out RV-ing, you will be stopping at a lot of remote places. Chances are, there won’t be many fancy supermarkets. However, it is a great chance to flex your culinary skills and cook up some quick dishes using the local produce. And, when you find a food joint, you can always give RV-ing a break and munch on some delicacies. Sounds fun? Yep, you are one more step closer to being the born RV-er.

5.You have some handyman skills

Like most other things, RV-ing cannot be all fun and game. Just like your home, there will days when you need to take care of a leak here or a damage there. Are you up for the challenge? On the brighter side, these days will pass. You don’t have a faucet leaking forever, do you?

Fun and challenge are two sides of the same coin when you are talking about RV-ing. The question is, are you up for it? If yes, then nothing should stop you from following your true nature. Here’s to road trips, raccoons, and RVs.
